LIVING STONES AND HOLY BONES

We are moving on into 1 Peter, Chapter 2, this Sunday, (February 1) as we consider what it means to be a “living stone” in the Master’s hand. As a living stone, we are set apart, wholly intended to be holy for His purposes. What does all that mean? I’m not going to tell you here, but I am going to promise you that you will be encouraged as we rejoice in what God has done and is doing in our lives!

Remember, each Sunday, Tim Weadon and I are leading a conversation over Peter’s epistle as well. I can assure you, you get a lot more out of it when you talk about it, and allow the body of Christ to be as iron sharpening iron, refining one another for His purposes. So, grab your coffee and come on in to the Discipleship room and dig in with us at 9:30 a.m. each Sunday! This Sunday, we are still in chapter 1. (Or you might want to do the same with Revelation in the kitchen! Either way, I promise you that you will be built up and encouraged!)

See you Sunday, February 1! Appropriately, we will conclude the service with the Lord’s Supper. As living stones, connected by Jesus, we are ONE! Let us rejoice in that oneness as we share in the bread and the cup this Sunday!

His,  <><
