Alliance Men
For the first few meetings this year I would like to present to you some Bible passages which focus on the Lamb and what he has done for us. To keep the meeting from being a “sermon” where only I express my worshipful thoughts about the passage(s), I would like for each of you to take time and study the passage(s) and meditate on how they touch you. What does God reveal to you as you read and contemplate the passage(s). If a particular song blesses your heart or another scripture is brought to mind then please come prepared to share it with the group.
As we go through the year we will focus on passages which draw us to Worship God, and help our love for him to grow. This is a meaningful way to worship individually but an incredible way to worship as each man brings his blessing to the group.
If you have read this far then you will now know that the passage which we will focus on, on the 3rd Saturday of January, will be Isaiah 52:13 through Isaiah 53.

ALLIANCE MEN TO MEET SAT., JAN. 17, 9:00 AM
Men’s Group meeting
The North River Alliance Men’s Group meets on the third Saturday of each month at the church. As we look ahead to 2026, our shared focus will be on the theme of “Worship,” with the opening months devoted to “Worshiping the Lamb.”
Before each gathering, we send an email and post to Church Events the Scripture passages we will be exploring. Participants are encouraged to read, study, and prayerfully meditate on these passages during their personal quiet time, noting the insights and blessings they receive to share with the group.
You are warmly invited to join us for a time of fellowship, reflection, and encouragement from 9:00–10:00 a.m.
Donuts, muffins, juice, and coffee are always provided.
We would be glad to have you with us.
Bailey Manor Ministry
Each week our team of volunteers has church with the residents, their families, and the staff of Bailey Manor in Hixson. With familiar hymns, a short devotional, and caring conversation the love of Jesus is made known to all who gather.
