Sunday Morning Worship
Come as you are. We are an informal and multi-generational community of believers. Join us in worship songs, prayer, and diving into the Word of God at 10:30 every Sunday!

Prayer Meeting
At North River, we take prayer seriously. Join us on Wednesday nights at 6:00 PM in prayer for our church, community, and beyond. You can even join us via Zoom!

Good News Club
An outreach ministry to Skillern Elementary in Soddy Daisy, helping kids explore a relationship with Jesus through fun, Gospel-centered programming.
The Good News Club Ministry gives children the opportunity to discover a relationship with Jesus. Thousands of students have been impacted worldwide!
GOOD NEWS CLUB VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
The CEF of Greater Chattanooga annual Good News Conference for Volunteers occurs on Saturday, August 15th, and registration to participate as a Volunteer ends 8/12/26! If you are interested in joining the volunteers of North River for the 2026-27 Skillern Elementary School year, we would LOVE to have you there. Alliance Women's Ministry
ALLIANCE SOUTH ALLIANCE WOMEN FALL CONNECT
SAVE THE DATE October 24, 2026, Saturday, 9:30 a.m. hosted by North River Alliance Women. Ladies from Alabama, Georgia, Northeast TN, and NW North Carolina will be invited to join and connect with our Speaker, Terry, enjoy fellowship, a light breakfast, worship, lunch, prayer, videos and partner with the new Outreach Ministry “Mats for the Homeless”. North River Church’s Alliance Women is part of Alliance South, a fellowship of women committed to praying for and supporting missionaries locally and globally. Rooted in the historic Women’s Missionary Prayer Fellowship (est. 1929), the group focuses on focused intercession, praying by name for missionaries and the fields they serve; learning about countries, cultures, and needs so prayer is specific and informed; giving toward district projects that directly support women and children overseas; and connecting with the wider district through events like Connect gatherings, the national Gathering, and leadership opportunities.
At North River, women meet on the second Saturday each month at 9:30 AM for a light breakfast, fellowship, and mission‑centered encouragement
Whether you are new to your faith or have been walking with Christ for many years, you are welcome. We would love for you to join us!
Alliance Men’s Ministry
We would be glad to have you with us.
The next North River Alliance Church Men's meeting will be September 19 from 9:00am - 10:00 am, in the church kitchen.
John Raszmann will be leading the discussion, and our topic will continue to be "Worship."
Please come prepared to worship and share with the group.

Bailey Manor Ministry
Each week our team of volunteers has church with the residents, their families, and the staff of Bailey Manor in Hixson. With familiar hymns, a short devotional, and caring conversation the love of Jesus is made known to all who gather.
Community Outreach
NEW OUTREACH MINISTRY
Exciting news! We are starting a new Outreach Ministry - we will be making sleep mats for the homeless in our area.
There are many ways that you can be involved including several things that can be done at your own home on your own time.
Please join us in the Discipleship room after service on August 23rd to find out how you can be a part of this ministry to serve our unhoused neighbors.

Alpha Course
The Alpha Course is a global ministry that provides a safe, and fun environment to talk about the fundamentals of the Christian Faith.
Skeptics are welcome. No question is off limits.
This is a first step toward a firm foundation for any believer.
The ALPHA COURSE will take place at North River Church beginning with our FREE INTRODUCTORY BANQUET (Child Care Provided) sometime next fall.
SKILLERN ELEMENTARY GOOD NEWS CLUB (GNC)
We are off to a wonderful start this year. In our first week, we welcomed 35 children, and in week two that number grew to 47, out of 53 registered. What a joy to see so many students eager to hear about Jesus and experience His love through your kindness and care. Our Volunteers show up with love, patience, and a desire to share the Good News of Jesus. The children feel that. They see it. And they benefit from it in ways that will stay with them for years to come.
During these first six weeks, the CEF curriculum titled JESUS: God Who Cares for People is being presented, with each lesson centered on the Gospel of Jesus Christ, so that every child has the opportunity to hear, understand, and respond to Him in faith.
