Conference Notes:

 You may notice the change in Missions Emphasis dates. This is due

to the availability of our Guest Speakers. They are looking forward

to spending time with us. We thank them for their openness to

add to their original schedule.

 We will be setting up and decorating for Missions Emphasis on

10/22 at 10am. All who are available are welcome. We will need

help setting up tables and chairs, hanging flags, decorating tables,

etc. Tear down/reset will take place on 10/25 after the evening

service. Help is needed then, as well.

 Our hope is to have 3 “regional” dinners to facilitate fellowship

with our NRC people and our Guest Speakers. The idea is for

someone to host dinner in their home and invite/open it up for

additional people to join them and our Guest Speakers. You can

provide the entire meal or ask others to bring something to share.

There are 2 opportunities for hosts.

• 10/24 Dinner: Hixson or Soddy-Daisy

• 10/26 Lunch or Dinner: Hixson or Soddy-Daisy

10/27 Dinner at Rick and Cheryl’s

opportunity.

 Guest Speakers will be attending Good News Club on 10/26.

 Please be advised that our guest speakers serve in an area where

it can be challenging—and potentially dangerous—for them to be

publicly identified as believers. For their safety and protection,

please do not publish their names online or share them in any

form.

 We will be collecting personal items for our Guest Speakers to put

a gift basket together for them. Items like snacks, personal items,

gift cards, stationary/note cards, etc. are appropriate. Avoid

things like candles, coffee mugs, etc. that would be challenging to

transport. Please bring items by 10/18.

 We will also be taking a Love Offering for our Guest Speakers on

10/25 in the morning worship service.
