Daryl Donovan

Dr. Daryl Donovan, (prefers Pastor Daryl) has come to North River Church to serve as our Intentional Interim Pastor. Pastor Daryl and his wife, Elaine, began serving in April 2024. Last year, Pastor Daryl completed 50 years of ministry…and 36 years of marriage! He and Elaine have 4 adult children and 8 grandchildren.  Their home is in Sevierville, Tennessee, but they have made the move to Hixson to serve as we transition to a new pastor.

Daryl is ordained with the Christian and Missionary Alliance and serves as an interim pastor with Interim Pastor Ministries. His last Lead Pastor role was in Florida where he served for 17 years prior to retirement and committing his life to interim work.  

Over the next several months, Pastor Daryl will be leading us through the five stages of the Intentional Interim Process:

4.  Lead Strategic Planning

5.  Coach the Search Process
